Mumbai: Central Railway chief TC spends Rs 33 lakh on video games, booked

The Central Railway chief ticket examiner Bhupendra Vaidya has been arrested by the Railway police for misusing the fine amount of Rs 33 lakh on video games. "TC Vaidya was addicted to video games so much that he spent most of the money at video games parlour in Thane. He further informed that Vaidya spent his entire salary playing video games, but after running out of cash, he misusing the fine money collected from the railway commuters who travelled without a ticket. In December 2018, Vaidya was found responsible of spending Rs 33 lakhs, and CSMT railway police registered the FIR against him. After filing the FIR, Vaidya returned Rs 5 lakh to the railway authority, but later he failed to pay back the rest of the amount..
