Summary:

Unable to visit his sisters in native Jharkhand for Raksha Bandhan on August 15, city-based Ashish Ambasta used the money to spread happiness among women cancer patients in Parel. Ambasta spent around Rs 10,000 to book movie tickets for 80 cancer patients in order to cheer the patients and let them feel happy for the day. After a discussion with his social worker friend Mehul Doshi, who helps cancer patients' in Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, they came up with the idea. While most of the cancer patients come from across the country for their treatment they stay at a nearby dharamshala . When I told them that I will be utilising my flight ticket expense on cancer patients, they were happy and also tried to extend a financial help from their end..
