Temple tragedy: Hospitals scramble to handle rush of patients

Of 27 patients shifted to KR Hospital, one died and the rest are said to be critical. While 10 ventilators were reserved for Kollegal patients (there are 13 at the government hospital), JSS Hospital reserved five, Apollo Hospital eight and Shantaveri Gopal Gowda Hospital three. Additional deputy commissioner T Yogesh said patients have been rushed to different hospitals across Mysuru.Health authorities contacted private hospitals in Mysuru and within minutes, they reserved ventilators.
