Parents in a fix as number of RTE seats nosedives

“If there was no election, this reduction in the number of RTE free seats would have become a big controversy. Last year, over 950 seats were available in private schools (both aided and unaided) under the RTE quota in this block. “But it is confirmed that most of the private schools have been excluded from the RTE schools’ list,” said an officer.“The example for this is Mysuru North Education Block.
