Even though number of infections due to COVID-19 has been rising among staff in Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Research Center in Mysore, the hospital continues to provide care and treatment to hundreds of heart patients.
The 350 bed facility has among 550 staffers including housekeeping, Group D, catering and security workers.

He stated that the biggest challenge for him as head of the institute is to encourage staff and doctors and all personnel.
‘’We work close to each other in closed environment and the chances of being infected are high.
But this hasn’t deterred our employees.
