MYSURU: Engineering graduate Santhosh Kalasannavar will commence his career as a warder at Ballari jail Perhaps he is the first BE graduate to take up a lower-rung job in the department of prisons. Warders stand a chance to get promoted as head warder, chief warder and jailer. He will be posted in Ballari.Speaking to TOI after participating in the parade, Santhosh, said that he, in line with his family's wishes, always aspired to join police service. He got selected as a warder thorough direct recruitment last year.
