Student clears DPharm after reval, misses degree course date

Suresh, a student of Agnihotri College Wardha, was baffled to know that he had failed in pharmaceutical chemistry II by just four marks. When the student found that he had scored just 20 out of 100 in theory, he immediately decided to challenge the evaluation. The revaluation result was announced on July 19 and his marks increased to 49 (33 in theory + 16 in practicals).The last date of registration for BPharm course was July 16. The admissions are governed by State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, Mumbai, through DTE. All we want is that my son should be allowed to apply for degree course,” he said.Regional DTE officials didn’t answer to TOI’s calls made in this regard.Suresh said in case the DTE refuses to consider his case, he may have to wait until the next year to apply for the course..
