Maharashtra to implement disability bill from Oct 2, 2018

Nagpur: Finally, taking cognisance of the central government’s Disability Bill 2016, the Maharashtra government has issued a GR to implement the bill in the state from October 2. At GMCHs, the college dean will head the board and medical superintendent will be member secretary. At the city corporations, medical superintendent will head the board. Most welcome step in the new bill includes the three blood related disorders; sickle cell disease, thalassaemia and haemophilia.
