Tiger seen near Ghugus, 20km from any forest

CHANDRAPUR: A tiger killed a goat near the Ram temple at Nakoda village near Ghugus on Thursday. Migration of tiger to industrial and mining town Ghugus, which has no forest within 20km, has shocked the people.Hafizullah from Nakoda was grazing his goats near the Ram temple in the village when a tiger attacked one of his goats and killed it. Forest department is also going to put camera traps on the spot to monitor the tiger’s movement.People in area surrounding Ghugus have been seeing a tiger since last two months. Forest officials have warned people against venturing alone in the secluded area, and have assured to start patrolling in the area.
