Court rules against Ranjeet Deshmukh in property dispute

Sub-divisional court and designated court for subsistence claims has issued an order recognizing Amol’s claim to a share in the 3500-square metre prime residential property located at GPO Square in Civil Lines. Nagpur: The ongoing tussle between senior Congress leader and former minister Ranjeet Deshmukh and his younger son Amol has taken a curious turn. Interestingly, Amol’s mother Rupatai Deshmukh in her submission to the court clearly stated no nuisance was created by Amol and his wife Suchita and that they had been supporting the elder Deshmukh couple by living with them. The elder Deshmukh had also claimed that in 2014 Amol had forcibly entered the house after his return to the country after education abroad and marriage with Suchita.
