Nagpur: Shyam Rajput, having several offences against him, was charged under the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities ( MPDA ) Act following an order issued by city police chief BK Upadhyay on Tuesday. The process to invoke MPDA against around at least 10 goons is underway. While being externed, Rajput had been caught for breaching the condition of not entering the city on eight occasions.In the last two months, this is the fifth action of MPDA under CP Upadhyay. Among many offences, he has records of armed robberies, assaults and other charges.Rajput, apart from being slapped with preventive actions, had been externed from city limits for two years in the past..
