Tiwari claims multicrore health care scam in Maharashtra

Yavatmal: Claiming a multicrore scam in the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana implementation, Kishor Tiwari , chairman of Vasantrao Naik Sheti Swavlamban Mission, a special task force set up by Maharashtra government to look into agrarian issues, on Sunday, through a press release, demanded thorough probe into the state-sponsored health scheme. The state has also appointed district-level nodal officers to monitor the implementation.Tiwari alleged that many of the empanelled hospitals force patients to undergo various tests and also bear the cost even in cases of minor illnesses.
