SP Ola handed over stolen valuables to owners recovered by cops

Nagpur: Superintendent of police, Nagpur rural, Rakesh Ola, brought smiles on the faces of the complainants who had earlier registered complaints at various police stations after either losing or having robbed of their valuables in the last few months. The cases were cracked before the valuables, worth around Rs 1.71 lakhs in Arti’s case and Rs 49,000 in Azhar’s, had been handed over to the respective complainants at the programmes.The overwhelmed complainants, after receiving their stolen or missing valuables back, expressed their happiness before the rural cops in presece of SP Ola . A programme was held at headquarters at Lalgodown, on Monday.Around 16 mobile phone handsets, which were either stolen, robbed or lost, were returned to their owners after they were recovered from various places through police station units. The mobile phones were being tracked down by the rural polices’ cyber team comprising Woman Naik police constables Varsha Khandait, Snehlata Dhawale and others under Woman PSI Varsha Kharsan.Apart from the stolen or lost mobile phones, the rural cops also returned the valuables of two more citizens, Arti Bankar and Sayyed Azhar, who had earlier registered offences of burglaries at Umrer police stations..
