NAGPUR: Some miscreants posing as cops decamped with substantial valuables by targeting senior citizens at four places on Wednesday. The tricksters fled the spot with Gundewar’s valuables worth Rs37,000. The impostors had approached Gundewar as cops guiding citizens about on security. Offences have been registered at different police stations, including two at Beltarodi.In the first case, 67-year-old Madhukar Kale was robbed of valuables worth Rs53,000 on Outer Ring Road by three unidentified persons posing as cops on checking duty. Gundewar later approached Beltarodi police station to register an offence.In another similar incident, also within limits of Beltarodi police station, three persons robbed 61-year-old Girdhar Parate near Saptagiri Nagar..
