Nagpur: Jaripatka police have rounded up three men for allegedly abusing and doling out threat to a 33-year-old Mekosabagh-based businessman and demanding Rs 50,000 as protection money from him, in the wee hours of Monday. The accused called Khan out and told him that he has to pay Rs 50,000 monthly as protection money. Khan was sleeping when the accused trio knocked at his door on the intervening night of Monday. However when the 33-year-old refused to accept their terms the accused trio first accosted him and also threatened him with dire consequences before leaving.
