Nagpur: A day after a woman and her boyfriend were arrested for the murder of the woman’s husband, Shekhar Paunikar, it has come to fore that the woman had used another sim card to call her paramour. It is learnt that the call made by Rashmi to Prajwal just before murdering Shekhar was made using a different sim card. Prajwal had given the sim card to Rashmi to call him from another number, so cops would not suspect them. However, during investigation police recovered the sim card.Police produced the accused in court on Thursday and procured PCR till January 14. The accused had also tried to mislead police by cutting Shekhar’s wrist, trying to portray it as a suicide.The accused had planned to murder Shekhar four days before the incident..
