Zingabai Takli faces water crisis in winter

Nagpur: Zingabai Takli in West Nagpur is facing severe water crisis even during winter. They demanded to resolve the problem before summer.Ganvir assured to supply adequate water supply to areas in Zingabai Takli within two months. He said water meters will be installed at households followed by supply under the central government’s Atal Mission For Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).Central government’s WAPCOS Limited has started the process to execute NMC’s Rs282 crore water supply project sanctioned under AMRUT scheme from October last year. Work order period for completing the project is two years. This area is situated very close to Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s (NMC) Pench-IV water treatment plant but is not getting adequate water supply.A delegation of former corporator Arun Dawre and NCP leader Jwala Dhote gheraoed NMC executive engineer Manoj Ganvir and submitted him a memorandum demanding to resolve the problems at the earliest.Dawre and Dhote condemned the NMC for water crisis in winter..
