Docs conduct two bone marrow transplants

Nagpur: HCG-NCHRI Cancer Centre has conducted two bone marrow transplants (BMT) in last one month. Both BMT patients, a 63-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy suffering from different types of blood cancers, are doing well. The allogeneic transplant costs near double and the cost may range from Rs 10-20 lakh.
