Local police had interrogated over 100 persons including Anil Nair, Umesh Gupta and a notorious gangster. Interestingly, Anil Nair, Director of Pioneer Construction Company, had also a scheme behind the Society’s plot. According to information, the CBI had submitted an application in the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate M T Kharade seeking permission to conduct brain mapping, polygraph and narco tests on Anil Nair and Umesh Gupta. Agreeing to the arguments, the Judge Kharade directed the CBI to conduct the tests on Nair and Gupta within three months.
