200-bed NICU to be set up at AIIMS to tackle COVID-19 among childrenWith an indication that children may be affected by coronavirus the administration is building preparedness to face the situation. As a first step towards that preparation a well-equipped 200-bed Covid Hospital with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is being set up at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The task force will work for the care and treatment of children. Dr Vinita Jain Dr Uday Bodhankar Dr Satish Deopujari Dr Kush Jhunjhunwala Dr Dipty Jain and Dr Meenakshi Girish of AIIMS Dr Nichkawde Dr Raut and others have been included.
