NASHIK: City police arrested three persons for smuggling mephedrone ( MD ), also known as meow meow drug, worth Rs 5.3 lakh near the Pathardi Phata area along the Mumbai-Agra highway.The trio were produced before a city court that has remanded them in police custody till Saturday. We will also find whether the three suspects were bringing this drug to Nashik routinely. Though the investigation process, we will try to find where the drug was sourced from and where it was to be delivered. Apart from the drug, the police also seized four cellphones from the trio and the SUV worth Rs 10 lakh.Commissioner of police Ravinder Kumar Singal said, "The drug was being brought in from Mumbai for delivery in Nashik.
