Sri Lankan among two held for duping farmers traders

EOW branch of Nashik was informed of the detention.Nagraj was formally arrested from Perigudi police station of Madurai district in Tamil Nadu. Nashik: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the city police arrested a Sri Lankan resident wanted in a case of cheating registered with Adgaon police in August 2017. He is now under the custody of the EOW till July 20.Nagaraj had set up an export firm along with Vijay Chandrashekhar of Selam in Tamil Nadu. He was produced in a city court, which remanded him to police custody till July 20.Sonawane said it is likely that other farmers and traders too had been cheated by Nagraj and Chandrashekhar..
