Nashik 300 raincoats distributed to traffic cops

NASHIK: As many as 300 personnel of the city traffic branch got raincoats from commissioner of police, Nashik city Ravinder Kumar Singal recently. Most of the times, the traffic constables are in the rains managing the traffic which moves at a snail's place across the city roads due to the wet roads also full of potholes and water puddles on their shoulders.On this backdrop, the traffic police were given good quality raincoats so that they could work even more efficiently to manage the traffic in the rains. The raincoats were distributed by the CP at a simple ceremony at the police commissionerate attended by DCP (HQ) Madhuri Kangane , ACP Ajay Deore, inspector Phuldas Bhoye , staff of the city traffic branch, regional manager of Quick Heal Anti-Virus company Lalit Jadhav and others.Expressing his views on the occasion, CP Singal appealed the personnel of the city traffic branch to ensure that they always took proper care of their health considering that they were out on the field regulating traffic in the rainy, winter and summer seasons.With the rains lashing Nashik city over the past couple of weeks, it is a tough task at hands of the traffic police to manage the vehicular traffic..
