NASHIK: The Nashik Municipal Corporation spent Rs 20 lakh to construct the wall of Greenfields Lawn on the Blue Line due to non-compliance of a stay order by Bombay high court. Corporators demanded that concerned officials pay the amount.The NMC had demolished the construction of Greenfield Lawns on May 23 as it was in the Blue Line. The owner had sent a letter to the NMC through his lawyer mentioning about the stay from the high court. Its reputation also got maligned for not following court orders due some officials. Once they give their explanation we will fix responsibility and then take action.”.
