Authorities conduct recce for immersion procession

Summary:

Thousands of devotees come to watch the immersion processions every year.Restriction on vehicle movement on Sunday: No vehicles will be permitted on immersion route 10 am onwards on Sunday. A large number of Ganapati Mandals opt for bringing the idol of Lord Ganapati in the traditional route for immersion. Buses coming to Nashik city from Ozar, Dindori, Peth will enter via Adgaon Naka, Kannamwar bridge and Dwarka. All vehicles will be banned for traffic on this route from 12 pm onwards.The city buses would originate from Panchavati depot. At Nashik Road the immersion processions would start from Bytco Junction and travel through Shivaji Maharaj Statue, Devi Chowk, Railway Station, Subhash Road, Satkar Point, Deolaligaon Mahatma Gandhi Statue, Khodade Kirana Store, to Waldevi river Deolaligaon..
