Police rescue three women from flesh trader; two arrested

NASHIK: Three women were rescued and two people arrested on Friday as police busted a flesh trade den, which was operating at a commercial complex near Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, in the heart of the city.According to Sarkarwada police, where a complaint has been lodged under Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act (ITPA), the raid was conducted by the crime branch at around 2:45 pm.The crime branch personnel had received a tip-off about the illegal trafficking of women being done the third floor of Suyojit Sankul near the Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan. Upon getting signal from the undercover cop masquerading as costumer, the police raided the place and rescued three women who were forced into prostitution.Investigating officer, inspector Sunil Rohokale said that two people identified as Deepali Vinay Nagarkar (42), a resident of Sahyadrinagar, Mumbai Naka and another Ravindra Bhika Majajan (35), a resident of Trimurti Chowk were arrested from the spot.They were produced before a city court which remanded the them in two-days police custody till Monday.Rohokale said, “The flesh trade was being run at the said place under the grab of a massage centre..
