Nashik | Saturday | 8th December, 2018

Summary:

NASHIK: The regional trasnport office ( RTO ) has made it mandatory for erring motorists to undergo a two-hour long counselling session if the latter want their driving licences to be reinstated. As per the new initiative, the motorists will have to undergo a counselling session before we reinstate their driving licence. "We are putting this new rule in place as we observed that imposing penalty was not enough to deter motorists from breaking traffic rules. "There is a special training module that we have developed for the erring motorists. Beginning December 11, the counselling session for the traffic offenders will be held in the premises of a traffic park owned by the NGO from 3pm onwards every Tuesday..
