It is aimed at giving some relief to farmers who have suffered due to crash in wholesale prices of summer onions in last two months. Around 45,000 farmers have so far submitted their applications to the APMCs so far," said the DDR Gautam Bansane, adding that they would scrutinise all the applications and send the demand of funds to the Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Board.
