Pannu finishes Ultra Spice in record time

Nashik: Lt Col Bharat Pannu (35) from Nashik has become the fastest Indian to complete Ultra Spice Cycling Race that began on January 26 at in Goa. Pannu finished the race on Wednesday morning at 6:30 am securing a lead of over five hours from the second finisher, Kabir Rachure from Mumbai. He cycled 1,750 km in 95 hours breaking the previous record of Col Srinivas Gokulnath, who was also based in Nashik.Col Gokulnath had completed the race in 98 hours last year. The other categories were 600 km and 1,000 km. The time allotted for finishing the race was 120 hours..
