Recently, the state government sanctioned Rs 4.06 cr for the development of the garden.The garden is spread across four acres of land. If a mini mall is constructed here, the NMC will also get a source of revenue,” she stated in the memorandum.She said that being in the heart of the city, the roads are very busy here and that constructing a mini mall would ease the traffic to some extent.One of the oldest gardens in the heart of the city, Shivaji Garden, is being renovated as a Smart Garden under Amrut funds..
