2 held for prostitution racket

On October 31, Gangapur police busted a prostitution centre in the ST Colony area of the city from where nine women from Bangladesh, Kolkata and Maharashtra were rescued. He further added that the police busted the racket within a fortnight.While two victims are from Navi Mumbai, one is from Panchavati area of the city. When the decoy customer responded in the affirmative, police conducted a raid in the flat where they found the three women. Both the suspects are from Nashik Police said that they were keeping a strict vigil on such illegal businesses that were operating in the city.
