Young volunteers on mission to feed poor

Nashik: Young volunteers of Robinhood Army have been collecting surplus food from hotels, restaurants and wedding halls to feed the hungry in the city. They used to ask what we do with the surplus food. On Makar Sankrant all volunteers prepared dal khichadi and tilgul and fed poor children,” she said. On an average, the group has been feeding around 1,400 people.To ensure that they feed a real beneficiary, a thorough location survey is conducted by a group of 3-4 volunteers.
