Leopard on prowl, attacks two villagers in Igatpuri

On Monday evening, a fire broke out on a hill in Adharwad in the eastern part of Igatpuri. Nashik: Two people, including a woman, were attacked by a leopard in Ashakiranwadi village, Igatpuri on Monday evening.Following this, the forest department is searching for the animal and has laid traps for catching the big cat. The forest department has installed two cages to rescue the big cat and 13 forest officials have been deployed for keeping a watch in the area.“The leopard will be rescued at the earliest. Our seniors have also visited them and took a review of the incident,” a forest official said..
