.

The risk of mucormycosis is increasing in the Nashik district.

The number of patients with mucormycosis is increasing day by day.

Also, the incidence of myocardial infarction is increasing in some patients with coronary artery disease.

The death toll from myocardial infarction is also on the rise.

Therefore, the common question is how the health system that has collapsed due to corona will cope with mucorrhoea.

So far, 19 people have died of myocardial infarction. In Malegaon and Nashik city, victims have died due to mucormycosis. So the health system has become more vigilant now. Post covid patients also have a higher risk of mucorrhoea.

So far 316 people have been infected with mucormycosis in the district. Of these, 68 patients have recovered and 248 patients are currently undergoing treatment. Of these, 204 are undergoing treatment at private hospitals and 26 at the acquired Kovid Center. 14 patients have been admitted to government hospitals for treatment.

On the other hand, the district also has insufficient stocks of amphoretacin B injections, which are important in the treatment of myocardial infarction. The district has a shortage of these injections. There have also been complaints that ejections are being sold at exorbitant prices due to shortages. It is understood that there is a big difference between the demand and supply of injections.
