Veggie supply to Mumbai normal, prices rise in Nashik

NASHIK: Supply of vegetables to Mumbai from Nashik , which had been severely affected due to Tuesday's torrential rain in the financial capital, returned to normalcy on Thursday.Traders said that supply had been affected up to 80% on Wednesday, but completely recovered on Thursday, leading to rise in vegetable prices in Nashik as compared to Wednesday, when the rates went down by around 50%.However, vegetable prices have dropped in the last 20 days comparatively due to an overall rise in supply. Brinjal and cauliflower prices have decreased by 33% in the past 20 days.
