The horticulture department also gives maximum work like maintaining of parks, watering of grass and plants, pruning of trees, installation of open gyms in parks etc to private contractors,” said Sanjeev Kumar , RWA general secretary, Sector 51.“Since the health and sanitation workers remain on strike often, the sectors reel under garbage,” he added.Amit Gupta, a resident of Sector 77, said while the sewer department also outsources work for repair and maintenance of sewer lines, “sectors 74 to 78 are all tended by private contractors”..
