NOIDA: In the past three months, only four cases of dengue have been reported from Noida hospitals, officials in the health department have said. Dr Sarika Chandra of Kailash hospital said they were regularly sharing the cases with the health department, adding that only the health department is authorised to declare the confirmed cases. Three private hospitals have, however, said at least 70 cases have been reported this season.Of the four cases mentioned by the health department, three are from Gautam Budh Nagar while one is from Ghaziabad. However, as many as three private hospitals — Jaypee, Kailash and Metro — which conduct Eliza tests , have said they have reported around 70 cases this season.
