Six snatch bikes at gunpoint, arrested

NOIDA: A gang of six thieves was arrested and 13 stolen bikes were recovered from their possession in a special drive called “Operation Black Eye”. This gang snatched bikes at gun point and sold them to unscrupulous buyers at cheap prices , police said.The accused have been identified as Chand Mohammad, Prem Shankar, Sabi Haider, Deepak Thapa, Raghav Kumar and Suneel Balmiki. The police have also found a stolen iPhone and two other mobile phones from their possession. “The team stopped six youths riding three bikes. Three country-made guns, six live cartridges and three knives were found from their possession during frisking,” he said.The accused told interrogators they were a part of gang that snatched mobile phones too..
