NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Heinous crimes like murder, rape , abduction and loot have decreased in Noida and Ghaziabad this year, though cases of domestic violence and dowry deaths have gone up in Noida. However, from January to September, Noida police registered 25 cases of dowry death against 18 in the same period last year. From January to September this year, 82 murder cases were registered compared to the 90 in the same period in previous year. Nearly 22 murder cases were yet to be solved. As many as 86 cases of chain-snatching in Indirapuram, 15 in Kavi Nagar and 12 cases in Sahibabad are yet to be solved..
