NOIDA: The Noida Authority on Friday identified 21 spots for community fire-cracking in different sectors across the city on Diwali as per the Supreme Court order.These spots are mostly located in Ramlila grounds in various sectors, parks and vacant plots. The administration also wrote a letter to the Authority over the matter.Last week, the Supreme Court had ordered that only “green” crackers — crackers with reduced emission — be manufactured or sold. Residents can also suggest suitable places for bursting crackers at other places, if they find any. It had also said bursting of firecrackers would be permitted only during 8-10pm on Diwali and directed the government to identify community fire-cracking spots.
