New Delhi: The national capital finally got its full-time real estate regulator under Rera with the Lt Governor Anil Baijal appointing former IAS officer, Vijay S Madan as its chairman. Madan will also be Rera chairperson for Chandigarh, housing secretary Durga Shanker Mishra said on Thursday.Till now the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) vice-chairman was the interim regulator under the Real Estate Regulatory Act. Gyan Prakash Srivastava and Ramesh Chandra have been appointed as members of the regulatory authority.“There was a request from Chandigarh administration to have common Rera chief for Delhi and Chandigarh.
