Summary:

GREATER NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority will hand over nearly 11 ,000 residential plots ranging from 200, 300 to 1,000 square metres to allottees by June 30 this year. Also, under the new schemes, we are planning institutional plots for petrol pumps, schools, malls, plazas, crèches, senior citizens’ home, nursing home, hospitals etc. This is done so that the hotel scheme does not clash with the airport project,” said Singh. In addition to this, YEIDA also plans to bring out a scheme by next month for small plots of 60-90 metre (about 600 such plots) for the benefit of small investors/allottees from lower and middle class. While 5,500 allottees of such plots will be given possession letters by March 31, another 4,500 will be given letters by June 30.The plots are from Residential Plot Scheme 1 and 2 (RPS 1 and 2) of 2009 in sectors 18 and 20 of YEIDA, which got delayed for five years (possession was due in 2014) as they were stuck in disputes/legal cases, said officials. The allotments are in addition to 4,317 residential plots handed in October and 5,008 plots allotted in December last year under the same scheme.Apart from this, YEIDA also plans to allot plots for shops, malls, plazas, crèches, nursing homes, hospitals (latter two on tender basis) under a new scheme to be launched sometime this year.“We will hand over possession letters for over 11,000 plots under RPS 1 and 2 in March and June this year where many registries have already been done and others are underway..
