Waste plant is new GMC chief’s priority

GHAZIABAD: Dinesh Chandra on Monday took charge as the new commissioner of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC). Till the time the Galand waste to energy plant is ready, we will have to dispose civic waste at designated landfill site and I hope that we will get the cooperation of residents” added Chandra. Prior to this, Chandra held the post of chief development officer of Aligarh. He took over the reins of CDO in Aligarh in May 2017 before being transferred to Ghaziabad.
