Two of gas agency robbed of collection

NOIDA: Two employees of a gas agency were robbed of Rs 6.5 lakh at gunpoint when they were on their way to a bank to deposit the amount. When the call couldn’t get connected for long, the owner spoke to Union minister Mahesh Sharma and informed about the crime. Police said the duo work for Chitra gas agency in Sector 54, from where cylinders are delivered to different localities.The amount from the deliveries is collected by the agency’s hawkers and is deposited in a bank on a regular basis. An FIR had been lodged under IPC Section 392 ( robbery ).
