Parents want school to reduce fee, file complaint

The parents met under the banner of All Noida School Parents Association (ANSPA) and write to the district fee regulation committee (DFRC). Any fee hike by schools after implementation of the Uttar Pradesh Self-Financed Independent Schools (Fee Regulation) Act will have to be guided by the Act. Noida: Around 90 parents of Billabong High School in the city have filed a complaint with the district fee regulation committee and demanded that the school revise its fee structure for the upcoming academic session.The parents said they had been given an estimate by the school for the upcoming session, which was 21.5% more than the fee charged in 2018-19. There is a segment for ‘school essentials’ under which school tags, labels and a few other small items are charged. They have factored in the guidelines of the UP Free Regulation Act..
