The victim`s name is Ahmed Jehangir and was shot at in New Zealand mosque mass shootings that killed 49 people in the country.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has asked the government, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) KT Rama Rao and Telangana Chief Minister`s Office to help Ahmed Jehangir`s brother Iqbal Jehangir.

According to the information tweeted by Asaduddin Owaisi, Iqbal Jehangir is a resident of Hyderabad.

Owaisi wrote that Iqbal Jehangir wants to go to New Zealand for his brother`s family living in New Zealand.

AIMIM president Owaisi also presented Iqbal Jehangir`s passport details.
