Google-funded NYOOOZ now on Zee5 platform

The integration of NYOOOZ’s video feed on India’s homegrown OTT platform ZEE5 will open a new window to city-specific issues and news related to politics, sports, local events, etc.

to all its subscribers.

NYOOOZ  exclusive news podcast ‘Khabar Din Bhar’, all-news headlines of Uttar Pradesh will be available for news buffs of Zee5.

Similarly, NYOOOZ and Paytm have reached an arrangement through which millions of Paytm Mini app users will now be able to read local news across 120+ cities across 11 states both in English and Hindi languages on the NYOOOZ platform.

NYOOOZ will also provide news from the world of sports, business, technology, entertainment, travel, health, job etc.

Paytm Mini apps are custom-built mobile websites that gives users tan app-like experience without the subscribers having to download them.

ZEE5 is India’s homegrown OTT platform, which has 65.9 million global monthly active users (MAUs), 5.4 million global daily active users (DAUs) till December 2020.

NYOOOZ has launched its local video news on ShareChat platform too to maximize reach. ShareChat is a homegrown social media startup and offers content consumption only in Indian languages to cater to over 1.17 billion wireless network users of  the country.

It is available in 15 Indian languages.

Globally recognized, independent digital news organization NYOOOZ, owned by Newzstreet Media Private, which is accredited by the Press Information Bureau of the Indian government ,is a recipient of the Google News Initiative grant in the year 2019 from amongst 87 organizations worldwide.

The company also received the YouTube Golden button in 2021.
