67 claims settled at MU pension adalat

GAYA: Altogether 67 claims of post-retirement dues of teaching and non-teaching employees of Magadh University (MU) were settled on Thursday. The settlement was made at a pension adalat chaired by MU vice chancellor Qamar Ahsan.The adalat was organised on the directive of governor-cum-Chancellor Satyapal Malik. Post-retirement dues including gratuity, leave encashment and provident fund among others were finally settled and orders passed for payment within 15 days in 67 cases. One claim was rejected due to lack of supporting documents.A total of 91 claims were taken up for consideration.
