Now choicebased credit system in PU

PATNA: Patna University (PU) is the first university in the state to introduce choice-based credit system (CBCS) in all its postgraduate academic programmes from the current academic session. Special attention and mentoring support would be provided to various categories of students, PU sources said.A two-day workshop on CBCS for PG programmes organized by PU commenced at Wheeler Senate House on Monday. Addressing the participants, PU pro-VC Dolly Sinha highlighted the various academic aspects of CBCS. PU pro-VC Dolly, Patna Science College principal Radha Kant Prasad, geology department head Atul Aditya Pandey, physics teacher Ashok Kumar Jha and other teachers of the college addressed the newly admitted students.
