Tainted scrap dealer reassigned BSEB job

Someone tipped off BSEB that he had purchased answer sheets of examination conducted in 2017 too and an FIR was lodged with the Kotwali police station following which he got arrested,” Kishor said.When asked that how a scrap dealer tainted in toppers’ scam was allotted tender for recycling answer sheets again, Kishor said as Gupta was not convicted by the court yet, he was again allotted responsibility to purchase answer sheets to recycle them.When asked if BSEB would continue to allot him responsibility until court delivers a verdict, Kishor said that he would be barred onwards from taking up job to purchase and recycle answer sheets now.Sources said that BSEB and a senior Patna police officer was alerted by businessmen that tainted Gupta was being allotted tender again for recycling answer sheets, but all turned blind eye towards it.Meanwhile, City SP (central) D Amarkesh said that raids were on to nab the Marwari College peon Rampukar Singh who took Rs 8,000 from Gupta and sold him the answer sheets.
